| This is the avian Polymavirus, killed vaccine
and we ship with a cold pack via 2nd Day Air. Psittimune APV contains
inactivated avian Polymavirus. Recommended for the vaccination of
selected Psittacine birds as an aid in the prevention of avian Polymavirus
infection or budgerigar fledgling disease. Psittimune APV is administered
by the subcutaneous method to healthy, susceptible Psittacine birds prior
to the laying season, during quarantine and prior to exposure to other
psittacine stock or equipment. Young birds are vaccinated at 5 weeks
of age. Larger psittacine birds weighing 200 grams or more should
receive a 0.5 ml dose. Birds weighing less than 200 grams should
receive a 0.25 ml dose. Sold in 10 dose vials. |
