| For the control and treatment of infections from organisms succeptible to the actions of Linomycin and Spectinomycin in pigeons. These may include: mycoplasma (chronic repiratory disease), streptococcus, staphylococcus, corynebacteria, e. coli and salmonella. We understand that you may not recognize some of these long words but you may want to look them in a dictionary or online. Spectovet is a combination of anitbiotics to treat a range of bacterial infections including respiratory. Active constituents: 445 g/kg spectinomycin 222 g/kg lincomycin in the powder form and 18 mg spectinomycin, 9 mg lincomycin in tablet form per tablet. The powder is 3 grams to 4 liters of drinking water, about a level teaspoon to a gallon for 5 days. Change daily and remove any other sources of water. The tablets are 18mg spectomycin, 9 mg lincomycin. 1 tablet daily for 5-7 days, 1 1/2-2 tablets for large breeds. This is a very expensive, but very effective product. |
