| This antibiotic is mentioned in pigeon health
books. Used in drinking water for severe cases of Ornithosis, which affects
the birds especially young ones, reducing appetite and an increase of
water consumption. Some birds show a sensitivity to light and close their
eyes. As a result, the eyelid may stick shut and become infected. 1 to
2 tsp. to a gal. for 3-5 days. |
