| Edstrom Automatic Watering System - An
animal can lose nearly all of its body fat and half of its protein and
stay alive. However, the loss of more than 10% of its water will
cause death. Deprivation of water for even a few hours can stress
an animal, leading to health problems and reduced performance in breeding
stock. Since the prepared feeds used in most facilities are low in
moisture content, your animal must drink more water to sustain their daily
dietary water requirement. Providing adequate quantities of clean,
fresh water, accessible to the animal 24 hours a day is crucial to overall
health and to the resulting profitability of your production. Installing
an Edstrom Automatic Watering System will accomplish this.
Standard Drinking Valve, Barbed - Using
the drinking valve assures a continuous supply of clean water. 3/16”
barb, all brass, fits 3/16” tubing. Recommended for rabbits.
Standard Drinking Valve, Threaded -
Same as our #6100 valve, except it is threaded 1/8” mpt. Recommended
for rabbits.
Mounting Clip - Used to attach the #6100
or #6102 to the cage.
Vari-Flo Valve, Barbed - Solid brass
with a small diameter stainless steel stem that the animal or bird must
move to release water with low force. Ideal for animals as small
as mice and finches. Used with birds and rats.
Vari-Flo Valve, Threaded - Same as our
#6103 except it is threaded 1/8” mpt. Recommended for birds and rats.
Vari-Flo Mounting Clip - Used to attach
the Var-Flo valve to cage wire.
Flex-Tube Black 3/16” PVC Tubing - Black
tubing prevents algae growth in water lines by blocking light. The
flex tubing is soft, non-toxic plastic material.
Tank Connector - The tank connector
is designed to connect to the side wall of your water supply tank or pan.
It provides an outlet for connecting the 3/16” flex tubing and has a shut-off
valve and a built-in 142 micron strainer. 3/16” barb connector.
Drain Valve - One at each end of the
lateral line. 3/16” barbed.
Pressure Regulator - The pressure regulator
is designed to connect directly to your garden hose spigot. It is
used to maintain a constant, controlled and reduced pressure water supply
to the Edstrom Watering System. This pressure regulator can accurately
maintain the required pressures over a wide range of flows that occur in
watering systems, from very low flow to high flows. Adjustable output
pressure range: 3/4 PSI to 10 PSI inlet connection. Outlet connections
are provided for connecting to either 3/16” or 5/16” flex-tube lines.
3/16” barb and 5/16” barb outlets included.
Tubing Standoff - Install on clip at
each tee and one every 18” for additional support. Do not space support
clips further than 18” apart.
Barbed 3/16” Tee - You’ll need one per
valve.
Barbed Connector - Connects two ends
of 3/16” Flex-Tube.
Shut-Off Valve - One per lateral line
(optional).
Barbed 3/16” Elbow - A 90 degree elbow
with two 3/16” barbed ends.
Standard O-Ring - O-Rings for original
and Veri-Flo valves.
PVC Pipe Reducer - For use with threaded
valves or adaptor.
Threaded Barbed Adaptor - Used to connect
3/16” tubing to PVC pipe reducer or saddle.
Tee Adaptor - Connect 3/16” barbs to
1/8” plastic tubing. |
