| These unique blocks contain herbs and essential oils which offer a two-fold approach to improve the health of your pigeons. The first benefit is the fight against all kinds of parasites like small moths, gnats, lice, etc. A second benefit is the positive effects of clearing the nasal passage and bronchial tubes which will help to avoid colds, Sinusitis, Bronchitis and dry or wet mucus. Pigeons can easily and safely withstand the "smoke bath" treatment in their loft and will regain their natural health and vitality. The block, when ignited will produce a smoke which releases the herbs. The smoke distributes itself equally. One block will cover an area approximately 6' x 6' x 7' high. Used in Europe for years and you do not have to remove the birds from the loft. Directions include that you close all doors, windows and vents, for 45-60 minutes to allow the smoke to do it's job. Open all openings after 45-60 minutes. Place the block on a stone, tile or terra-cotta surface and away from any combustible materials. The pellet will burn for 2 - 3 minutes, but it is suggested that you do not handle it for at least 15 minutes. You may repeat in 2 or 3 weeks as needed. |
