| Galvanized steel construction, this brooder allows you to brood chicks, quail or other species to four or fi ve weeks old. Raise more birds with less effort. PVC coated wire mesh fl oor 1/2" x 1/2", cover with paper towels or cage board for fi rst week or so. (Do not use slippery paper such as newspaper.) Top opening 27" x 42" and removable in 2 sections. Rear opening is 11 1/2" x 3 3/4". 3" high removable dropping pan. We supply a feeding trough which you fi ll from the outside and also supply a drinker which is hung on the outside of your brooder. The feeder holds about 7 lbs. of pelleted feed. The poly drinker holds about 1 gallon of water. Overall dimensions 42 x 27 x 20" high. |
