Seeds, Grains, Feeds, Grit, Charcoal, Oyster Shell, Formulas
Many fanciers have a hard time finding feed in their area; quite expensive to have it shipped. Keep this in mind, if you keep pigeons just for the joy of it, keep the feed simple. They will do just fine on chicken layer pellets. Stay away from any medicated pellets. Pigeons will only eat chicken “mash”, if they are starving, do not try using a mash. You should use pellets, only that you can use them.  Pigeons are generally grain eaters.

Many diseases are caused by or spread by mice and every effort should be made to store your feed in water and rodent proof containers.  I have used the Vittles Vaults and actually leave it outside for easy access without any problems.
