As always, we are looking for new ideas that make for a better way to care for our pigeons. This Heater/Feeder Stand was noticed while visiting the lofts of a friend, Ron Simpson. Ron lives in a cold climate and has a number of lofts. Ron came up with this idea and with his permission, we are making this available to our customers. Made in our own woodworking shop, owned and operated by John Raber. We  had to go thru many revisions, but the finished product was exactly what we were looking for. The unit is 20 5/8 in. high and 15 5/8 in. from front to back. We have made the top so that it flips up, should you have a drinker that is quite tall. Without flipping the top up, you have 11 ½ in. of height to place your heater or drinker. This unit was designed to keep your water from freezing, but it most certainly can be used year round, as it goes a long ways in keeping the drinking water clean. There are two holes in the back of the unit, on down near where it meets the floor and the other higher, just above where you would place your drinker. These holes are to slip your extension cord thru, in order to plug in your heater. This stand will accommodate just about any heater, including our #294 Can Heater and Heavy Duty Heaters #3461 thru #3464.The Can Heater goes under the stand, tilt back and place the Can Heater in position. The stand also has four small holes that align the Heavy Duty Heaters and this prevents the Heavy Duty Heaters from moving. This is a great unit, made mostly of wood, and as all of the wood products, the wood is sanded to a very smooth surface. Foy’s suggest you paint the unit which will give an even longer life, in fact will last you a life time when painted and years and years even if you do not paint it. Not inexpensive, but you will really benefit from using it. No frozen water and water that stays much cleaner.
